Geez, it’s been soooo long since i have typed anything on some sort of bloggity blogness… i don’t even know where to begin.
Summer came and went. Oh what a Summer it was…. always eventful around my house.
For my birthday, i received 4 baby chickens. We built a really cool chicken house for them. It’s a playhouse you buy for kids. One of my chicks died… so i bought three more. i know… call me crazy. Penguin is the little girl who died… i have the original CROW, MAY & JUNE. Then i have SALLY, SAM, & SUZIE. I am not stuck on the last 3 names, because they are still little and so flighty.

Then, we are still dealing with Cooper and his illness. It was up and down all Summer. But, finally, his blood levels stayed normal and we were able to slowly drop his prednisone down to 10mg. a day. But this isn’t after it has done damage to his poor little bones and hips. He has the hardest time getting up and walking.
THEN, we went away and some how he got an abcess on his butt. YEP! He has had an open hole on his butt cheek for 2 months now. Anitbiotics, staples, something we squirt in the hole, bla bla bla bla bla. The steroids and his disease wont let it heal along with where it is located. So, now the best little doggy in the world, is wearing diapers. He looks like a baby monkey. He is sooo adorable and such a trooper. But wait, there’s more… he started losing his hair in patches all over his body. Can’t wait to deal with this one. They think its the steroids… I think its SA. But, we shall see. He is our million dollar doggy!
What else… J had her surgery and the doctor messed up. Go figure. That’s all i will say about that one.
Oh, business is really well and i love my doggies and kitty’s more than ever! It has been nice for two weeks that the gas prices have stabilized. However, with OPEC saying they will stop production, i just can’t wait for it to go back up! Nobody ever wants to get ahead in this economy.
Speaking of which… it SUX!
The economy sux, our government sux… nobody knows what they are doing about anything! That would be a whole other post… this election coming up… screwy officials, politics, & our economy.
But for now… i hope everyone is doing the BEST they can do and remember…
